A Gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/4 inches (3.18 cm) in width overall consisting of a shield blazoned as follows: Gules, an antique cannon barrel Or and a lightning flash Argent saltirewise; a bordure of the second. Attached below the device a Black motto scroll inscribed "CELOX ET ACCURATUS" in Gold letters with a Gold mullet at each end of the scroll.

The Artillery branch is represented by the color scarlet and the cannon, which also denotes power and emphasizes branch traditions. The lightning flash signifies speed and responsiveness to mission requirements. Gold denotes excellence. The motto translates to "Fast and Accurate."
