On a red equilateral triangle with each side convex and 2 7/8 inches (7.30 cm) in width overall, a medium blue vertical stylized arrow edged white issuing from the base the arrowhead conforming to and coinciding with the upper angle area, and all surmounted by two white elephant tusks in perspective, the tips of the tusks outward and upward and crossed saltirewise below the rounded lower edges of the arrowhead, the entire insignia within a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) red border.
Red signifies the enemy threat. The blue arrow refers to the penetration of threat and offensive action. The elephant tusks symbolize Thailand and the barring of enemy infiltration.
The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved for the U.S. Army Control, Thailand on 16 September 1966. It was amended to change the unit designation of the organization to U.S. Army Support, Thailand on 13 October 1966. The insignia was rescinded on 15 May 1979. (TIOH Dwg. No. A-1-434)
A silver color metal and enamel device 2 inches (5.08 cm) in height consisting of a design similar to the shoulder sleeve insignia.
