Timothy Francis Guinan

Tim proudly served his country in the United States Army in the 101st Airborne Division in Operation Desert Storm. He was an active-duty police officer with The Greenwood Police Department for 25 years where he was an accident investigator, motorcycle officer, SWAT team member, field training officer, and motorcycle instructor. Tim truly had a servant’s heart and would do anything to help anyone who needed him. He loved life, his family, and friends, and would stop at a moment’s notice to help anyone in need, whether he knew them or not. Tim enjoyed the “lake life” and loved to go camping, hunting, and fishing. He was also passionate about cooking for his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by his wife, two sons, friends, his LEO family, and his beloved dogs Finn and Charlie.
