Robert Clement

Officer Clement, Officer Stillwell and Officer Hough were attempting to serve an arrest warrant. Upon entering the house shots were exchanged and Officer Clement was struck in the abdomen, neck, and torso. Officer Clement remained in a rehabilitation center, confined to a wheelchair. In June of 1999, he underwent surgery that would have helped him walk again. Officer Clements died from complications from the surgery. The suspect committed suicide during the stand-off with police.
