What Happened
Trooper Johnny Bowman was stabbed to death at 4:18 a.m. when an unidentified male attacked him at his home in the 8900 block of Patterson Place in Manassas, Virginia. A suspect was identified but was never charged due to a lack of evidence. Trooper Bowman, who also served as a sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps, had served with the been with the Virginia State Police for five years.
