What Happened
Killed at the Pentagon on the morning of 11 September 2001, when American Airlines flight 77 struck the western face of the building at 9:37. A hundred and twenty-five people inside and fifty-nine aboard the aircraft were killed.
Biography
Petty Officer Third Class, United States Navy, an electronics technician. He was of Hubert, North Carolina, and joined the Navy shortly after finishing school.
He began at the Naval Training Center at Great Lakes, Illinois, then spent three months at the Fleet Training Center at Norfolk before joining the Telecommunications Center in the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations at the Pentagon in June 2000. He was twenty-three.
