Israel-Avraham "Israelik" Bernholtz Valah
בן יצחק ופייגה. נולד ביום ט"ו באדר ב' תרצ"ח (18.3.1938) בעיר סרוט שברומניה. המשפחה עלתה לארץ בשנת 1948 דרך קפריסין. סיים את לימודיו בבית-הספר היסודי "נצח-ישראל" בחיפה. לאחר-מכן למד שנתיים בבית-ספר מקצועי. גויס לצה"ל באוגוסט 1955. נפל בשעת מילוי תפקידו ביום י"ט באלול תשט"ז (26.8.1956) והובא למנוחת-עולמים בבית-הקברות הצבאי בחיפה.
