Turai Dror Chen Hasan served in the Israel Defense Forces. Dror served with the Technological and Maintenance Corps. Dror served in the South Lebanon Security Zone. Dror was 18 years old.

What Happened

בן מזל וישעיהו, נולד ביום כ"ו בתשרי תשכ"ז (10.9.1966) במושב קדימה שליד נתניה. הוריו עלו מתימן בשנת 1949. דרור למד בבית-הספר היסודי בקדימה, והמשיך את לימודיו ב"אורט" בשפיים, במגמת מכניקה. הוא היה חבר "הנוער העובד והלומד", התאמן בג'ודו ובאתלטיקה קלה. אהב ספורט ומוסיקה. מתחילת לימודיו בבית-הספר היסודי התגלה דרור כילד כשרוני. הוא היה תלמיד חרוץ, אהב לעזור לזולת והרבה לטייל בארץ. ביום 29.10.1984 התגייס דרור לצה"ל, ואחרי תקופת טירונות כללית הוצב בחיל-החימוש ועבר קורס הידראולוגי. את הקורס הוא השלים בהצלחה, והוצב ביחידת חימוש בלבנון, שם הספיק לשרת שבועיים בלבד כטכנאי. במשך שירותו הצבאי בלבנון, הטרידה אותו מאוד המלחמה הזו, וכן מהות מעשיו של צה"ל בלבנון. לא אחת דיבר על כך עם חבריו ומשפחתו. ביום כ"ד בניסן תשמ"ה (15.4.1985) נפל דרור בעת שירותו בהיותו בחופשה בביתו. דרור הובא למנוחות בחלקה הצבאית בבית-הקברות בקדימה. הוא השאיר אחריו הורים, שלושה אחים ושתי אחיות.
