Samal Itzhak Yaakobolvitch served in the Israel Defense Forces. Itzhak served with the Armored Corps. Itzhak served in the Sinai Campaign.
בן יעקב וחיה. נולד בשנת תרצ"א (1931) בעיר דומברובה-גורניציה שבפולין. בשנת 1947 עלו הוא ואחיו לארץ באניה "יציאת-אירופה". הוא הוחזר על-ידי האנגלים לגרמניה (אחרי שאחיו נורה על-ידיהם) ושם הצטרף לקבוצת-הנוער "דרור". בשנת 1948 עלה עמהם לארץ. סיים את לימודיו בבית-ספר תיכון. בינואר 1950 גויס לצה"ל. נפל במערכת-סיני ביום כ"ט במרחשון תשי"ז (2.11.1956) בקרב אבו-עגילה והובא למנוחת-עולמים בבית-הקברות הצבאי בקרית-שאול.
