Rav Samal Mitkadem Ester Avital served with the Israel Police. Ester served in the First Intifada and the South Lebanon Security Zone. Ester was 36 years old.
בת סוליקה ויוסף. אסתר (אתי) נולדה במרוקו בכ"ה באב תשי"א (27.8.1951) ועלתה ארצה בשנת 1955. היא למדה בבית ספר יסודי ובתיכון בעיר מגוריה, בית שאן. אסתר התחתנה ב-1972 ובשנת 1974 עברה לגור בבקעת הירדן. גרה במושב ארגמן עם הבעל שאול ועם הילדים אופיר, אריק, גד, אוהד ואדוה. היא הייתה אישה יפה, שקטה וחרוצה, שעשתה הכול עבור הבית והילדים. אסתר התגייסה למשטרה ב-1976 ושירתה במעבר הגבול בגשר אדם. ביום כ"ו בסיוון תשמ"ח (11.6.1988) נפטרה רב-סמל מתקדם אסתר ממחלת הסרטן. אסתר הייתה בת שלושים ושבע בנפלה. היא הובאה למנוחות בבית העלמין בבית שאן. הותירה בעל וחמישה ילדים.
