Turai Menahem Mizrahi served in the Israel Defense Forces. Menahem served with the Infantry. Menahem served in the War of Independence.
בן רחל ורחמים, נולד בשנת 1914 בעיר נוסרן, תורכיה. בשנת 1928 עלתה המשפחה לארץ. מנחם-בנימין גדל בירושלים, למד ב"חדר" ובתלמוד-תורה ובגיל צעיר החל לעבוד. היה חבר ותיק ב"הגנה". עם פרוץ מלחמת-העולם השנייה התגייס לצבא הבריטי ושירת בו שש שנים בחזיתות מצרים ולוב, איטליה וארצות אירופה המרכזית. עם שובו מהצבא נשא אישה ונולד לו בן. הנישואים לא החזיקו מעמד. את דאגתו הקדיש לאמו הזקנה שהוא היה מפרנסה היחיד. עם החלטת עצרת האו"ם ב- 29.11.1947 על חלוקת הארץ ופרוץ מלחמת-העצמאות בעקבותיה, התגייס ויצא לעמדות אשר מסביב לירושלים. ביום כ"א בסיוון תש"ח 28.6.1948)), בימי ההפוגה הראשונה, בהיותו בעמדה בנוטר-דם, נפגע מכדור צלף ומת בו במקום. נקבר בסנהדריה בירושלים. ביום י"ב באלול תשי"א 13.9.1948)) הועבר למנוחת-עולמים בבית-הקברות הצבאי בהר- הרצל בירושלים.
