Eduard-Avraham "Ed" Aba Lugatch
Turai Eduard-Avraham Aba Lugatch served in the Israel Defense Forces. Eduard-Avraham served with the Infantry. Eduard-Avraham served in the War of Independence. Eduard-Avraham was 17 years old.
בן שפרה, נולד ביום כ"א בסיוון תר"ץ (17.6.1930) בקנדה. בתחילת מלחמת-העצמאות החליט לעלות לארץ-ישראל ביחד עם בן דודו - אברהם-אבא כהן. הצעירים הגיעו לארץ בחול-המועד פסח תש"ח וכעבור ימים אחדים התגייסו לפלמ"ח. אברהם השתתף בקרב מלכיה שהתרחש ב- 14-15/5/1948 במסגרת הגדוד הראשון של פלוגה א' ונפל בקרב זה ביום ו' באייר תש"ח (15.5.1948) יחד עם בן דודו. מיום נפילתם ועד ט"ז בחשוון תש"ע (3.11.2009), היו אברהם ובן דודו בחזקת חללים שמקום קבורתם לא נודע. בעקבות חקירה של הענף לאיתור נעדרים בצה"ל, התברר כי הם קבורים יחד עם חלק מחבריהם מקרב זה בקבר אחים בקיבוץ מעוז חיים. לזכרם התקיים טקס גילוי מצבה בבית הקברות במעוז חיים.
