Segen Shlomo arin served in the Israel Defense Forces. Shlomo served with the Infantry. Shlomo was 20 years old.
בן יוסף ועדה. הוריו יליד-הארץ שניהם. נולד ביום ט"ו בשבט תרצ"א (2.2.1931) בפתח-תקוה. סיים את לימודיו בבית-הספר היסודי פיק"א שבמושבה ולאחר-מכן למד בבית-הספר המקצועי לפקידות ולמסחר "פיטמן" שבתל-אביב. לפני מלחמת-הקוממיות היה חניך הצופים והגדנ"ע וכן השתייך לפלמ"ח; אחרי שהשתתף במלחמה עצמה כחבלן וסייר בגדוד-הפורצים, וכסייר וצלף בגדוד אחר, היה ממייסדיה וראשוניה של נקודת-ההיאחזות "תל-רעים" בנגב. מסור ונאמן בכל לבו ונפשו למשפחתו, לרעיו, למשקו ולנשקו. ביום י"ז בתשרי תשי"ב (17.10.1951) נפל בשעת מילוי תפקידו והובא למנוחת-עולמים בבית-הקברות בפתח-תקוה.
