Turai Rishon Meir Dori served in the Israel Defense Forces. Meir served with the C4i Corps. Meir was 21 years old.
בן ג'ורג' ורינה. נולד ביום ד' בתמוז תרצ"ה (5.7.1935) בעיר דלים שבעירק. סיים את לימודיו בבית-ספר יסודי שם. עלה לארץ בשנת 1951. היה חניך "עליית-הנוער" בקיבוץ גת, בו למד בכיתה ראשונה של בית-הספר התיכון. אהב את החברה ואת חיי-הקיבוץ ורצה להמשיך בם אך בגלל מצבם הכלכלי הקשה של הוריו, שגרו במעברת רמת-השרון, לא ניתן לו להגשים את שאיפתו והוא עבר אליהם ושם שימש דוגמה לנוער. עבד במושבה בעבודות חקלאיות, אך חוסר-העבודה ששרר שם אילצהו להתגייס לצבא לפני שהגיע לגיל השירות - בינואר 1955. נפל בשעת מילוי תפקידו ביום כ"ב במרחשון תשי"ז (27.10.1956) והובא למנוחת-עולמים בבית-הקברות הצבאי בקרית-שאול. דברים לזכרו ולדמותו הועלו ב"אבים", הילקוט שהוצא לאור בשנת 1960 על-ידי המועצה המקומית של רמת-השרון.
