Turai Moshe Cohen served in the Israel Defense Forces. Moshe served with the General Service Corps. Moshe was 18 years old.
בן אהרון ומרצדס. נולד ביום כ"ה בכסלו תשי"ח (18.12.1957) בספרד. עלה ארצה עם משפחתו בשנת 1970. למד בית-הספר היסודי שבעיר-הולדתו. עם עלותו לישראל המשיך את לימודיו בבית-הספר היסודי ע"ש רמז שבראשון-לציון. אחרי-כן למד בבית-הספר 'ענף החיים' שבירושלים וסיים את לימודיו בפנימייה התיכונית שבכפר-בתיה במגמת הנגרות. בזמן שנותר לו עד גיוסו לצה"ל למד בבית-ספר להכשרה מקצועית שבחולון. הוא היה נער נעים-הליכות, עדין ומסוגר באופיו. שעות רבות מזמנו הפנוי הקדיש לחיי המשפחה - לשיחות ולמשחקים עם אחיו ואחיותיו ולעזרה להוריו. כמי שחונך במשפחה שומרת-מסורת, גדל משה והיה לנער מאמין, שהקפיד על קיום המצוות. משה גויס לצה"ל באוגוסט 1976. כעבור שהייה של ימים אחדים בבסיס-הקליטה-והמיון נשלח לטירונות. בפרק-הזמן הקצר שמפקדיו הכירוהו הם הספיקו לעמוד על מסירותו ואחריותו וראוהו כחייל ממושמע ומוכשר. ביום ג' באלול תשל"ו (28.8.1976), כשלושה שבועות לאחר גיוסו, נפל משה בעת שירותו. הובא למנוחת-עולמים בבית-העלמין הצבאי שבחולון.
