Avram-Tohelebi "Chevi" Hananel
Private Avram-Tohelebi Hananel served in the British Army. Avram-Tohelebi served with the Royal Corps of Signals. Avram-Tohelebi lived in Mandatory Palestine. Avram-Tohelebi is remembered by the State of Israel.
בן בוסה-דורה ואברהם. נולד בשנת תר"ע (1910) בסופיה שבבולגריה. הוא עלה לארץ-ישראל בשנת 1932 חרף התנגדות הוריו. כאן נשא את שרה לאישה ונולדו לו שלושה ילדים. בשנת 1939 הצטרף לשורות ה"הגנה". במלחמת העולם השניה, התגייס לצבא הבריטי, והוצב לחיל הקשר. צ'בי נפצע בקרב בים האגאי והובא לבית החולים ביוון, משם שלח את מכתבו האחרון למשפחתו בארץ. ביום כ"ז בניסן תש"א (26.4.1941) נפטר. השאיר אחריו אשה ושלושה ילדים. שמו הונצח במצבת זיכרון בבית-העלמין הצבאי הבריטי באתונה שביוון. עוד על שירותו בצבא הבריטי: אברהם (צ'בי) חננאל טוהלבי (Hananel Tohelbi Avram), מספר אישי בריטי PAL/8524, התגייס לצבא הבריטי בשנת 1940. הוצב בחיל הקשר המלכותי הבריטי (R.C.S. - Royal Corps of Signals) ביחידה 3 L. of C., Royal Sigs. תפקידו בצבא הבריטי - אתת. בהמשך הועבר ליחידה 601 Pioneer Coy. דרגתו בצבא הבריטי טוראי (Pte. - Private). מקום קבורתו לא נודע. הונצח ב- ATHENS MEMORIAL, יוון, בציון Face 4.
