Segen Aharon Markman served in the Israeli Air Force. Aharon served with the Ramat David Airbase. Aharon was 23 years old.
בן חיים ורחל, חברי כפר-גלעדי. נולד ביום ד' באדר תרצ"ו (27.2.1936) בתל-אביב. סיים את לימודיו התיכוניים במשק. השתייך לתנועת "הנוער העובד". גויס לצה"ל בפברואר 1955. שמונה חדשים שירת כצנחן אולם כיבוש-האויר קסם לו ולמרות כל הקשיים שהיו צפויים לו נרשם לקורס-טיס. אחרי סיימו את הקורס שימש כטייס וכמדריך בבית-הספר לטיס. היה לבבי בכל הליכותיו ורוחו טובה עליו כל הימים. ידע את האחריות הרבה בתפקידו ועם רכישת-נסיון הלך ועלה בדרגה ועשה את כל מעשיו מתוך בטחון עצמי. לבסוף הגיע לדרגת סגן. נפל בשעת מילוי תפקידו ביום א' בטבת תש"ך (1.1.1960) והובא למנוחת-עולמים בבית-הקברות בכפר-גלעדי. הניח אשה. ב"שלושים" לנפלו הוציאו הוריו חוברת לזכרו.
