בן משה וזלדה. נולד ביום ט' בתמוז תש"ו (8.7.1946) בתל אביב. אחרי שסיים את לימודיו בבית הספר היסודי על שם ויצמן למד בבית הספר לקציני ים בעכו וסיים את לימודיו שם. הוא היה מוסיקלי מאד, ניגן בכינור, בגיטרה ובחליל והיה מוקד כל מסיבה חברתית. השתייך לתנועת "הנוער העובד". באוקטובר 1964 גויס לצה"ל והוצב לחיל הים. בסיימו את שירותו הסדיר התחיל לשרת בצבא הקבע. את שירותו נתן באח"י "אילת" כסגן קצין מכונות בדרגת סגן. הוא היה קצין מצוין ובעל מקצוע מעולה. אהוד היה על חבריו הקצינים ועל הצוות כולו. דויד היה בעל אופי שקט וכיון שניחן בחוש הומור היה הרוח החיה בחברתו. שירותו במשחתת בא לקצו באותו יום שזו טובעה על ידי טילים מצריים מול חוף רומני שבצפון סיני; זה היה ביום י"ח בתשרי תשכ"ח (21.10.1967), הובא למנוחת עולמים בבית הקברות בהרצליה.
