Turai Arie Laloz served in the Israel Defense Forces. Arie served with the Armored Corps. Arie served in the War of Attrition. Arie was 20 years old.
בן שם-טוב ודדה. נולד ביום י"ג במרחשון תש"י (5.11.1949) בסאפי שבמרוקו ועלה עם משפחתו ארצה בשנת 1960. למד בבית-הספר היסודי "חזון-עובדיה" ובבית-הספר התיכון המקיף ב' - שניהם בבאר-שבע. הוא היה ספורטאי שאהב כדורגל והיה חבר ב"הפועל" באר-שבע. אריה גויס לצה"ל במחצית נובמבר 1967 והוצב לחיל ההנדסה והשריון. הוא היה מסור לתפקידו, נאמן לחבריו-לנשק ואהוב על כל מי שהכירו. אחרי ששוחרר משירות סדיר, נקרא כפעם בפעם למילואים. ביום ד' באדר א' תש"ל (10.2.1970), יום לאחר שנפצע בהפצצת מטוסים מצריים באזור התעלה, נפטר. הובא למנוחת-עולמים בבית-הקברות הצבאי בבאר-שבע. הניח אישה וילד. שלושה חודשים אחר מותו ילדה אלמנתו בן אשר נקרא על שמו - אריה. חבריו וידידיו תרמו גביע על שמו, המוענק מדי שנה לקבוצת נוער הזוכה בתחרות הכדורגל.
