בן עזיז ורחל. נולד בכסלו תש"א (דצמבר 1940) בעיר מוסול שבעירק. המשפחה עלתה לארץ בשנת 1951. למד בבית-הספר היסודי בעתלית. גויס לצה"ל בפברואר 1958. נפל בשעת מילוי תפקידו ביום ח' בכסלו תשי"ט (20.11.1958) והובא למנוחת-עולמים בבית-הקברות בעתלית.
