בן ירחמיאל-יוסף וזלדה. נולד ביום כ"ה בטבת תרצ"ד (12.1.1934) בברלין, בירת-גרמניה. האב נפל קרבן בידי הנאצים, ולאחר-מכן, בעבור האם ובנה-יחידה לדרום-אפריקה, המשיך לימודיו שם והגיע עד לפני בחינות-בגרות. עלה לארץ יחד עם אמו בשנת 1949 והוכנס למוסד-החינוך אשר בעין-הנצי"ב. גויס לצה"ל באוקטובר 1951. נפל בקרב במעלה-החמישה ביום ו' בסיון תשי"ב (30.5.1952) והובא למנוחת-עולמים בבית-הקברות הצבאי שעל הר-הרצל בירושלים.
