בן ראניה וצבי, נולד בשנת 1913 בעיר וורקוביץ, חבל ווהלין, פולין. היה איש "החלוץ" מנעוריו ובמשך שנים חבר קיבוץ לוצק. אברהם שירת בשעתו בצבא הפולני והגיע ארצה בעלייה "בלתי-חוקית" בשנת 1937. עם עלייתו המיר את שמו הלועזי בשם עברי ונקרא בשם חייט. בשנת 1940 התגייס לצבא הבריטי ושירת בארץ ובחוץ-לארץ. אחרי שהשתחרר היה במשך שנים אחדות חבר קיבוץ משמר הים. לאחרונה ישב בחיפה ושם התגייס לחטיבת "כרמלי". אברהם נפל ביום ט' באייר תש"ח (18.5.1948) ליד עין חרוד. הובא למנוחת-עולמים בבית-הקברות בחיפה.
