Segen Mishne Dror Yaakobson served in the Israel Defense Forces. Dror served with the Logistics Corps. Dror served in the South Lebanon Security Zone. Dror was 23 years old.
בן שושנה ויצחק, נולד ביום ה' באדר תשכ"א (21.2.1961) בחולון. דרור השלים את לימודיו התיכוניים בבית-הספר "קוגל" בחולון. הוא הצטיין בלימודיו, והמשיך ללמוד כעתודאי בטכניון בחיפה. דרור השלים את לימודיו לתואר ראשון במדעי מחשב. בפברואר 1983 התגייס דרור לשירות חובה. הוא שירת ביחידת מחשבים, בדרגת קמ"א (קצין מקצועי אקדמאי). דרור נפל בעת שירותו ביום כ"ו בתמוז תשמ"ד (25.7.1984). בן 23 שנים הוא היה במותו. הוא הובא למנוחות בבית-הקברות הצבאי בחולון. לאחר שנפל הועלה דרור לדרגת סג"ם. הוא השאיר אחריו הורים ואחיות.
