David-Haim Ronen Lupovitch served with the Israel Police. David-Haim served in the First Intifada and the South Lebanon Security Zone. David-Haim was 49 years old.
בן לאה ומרקו. דוד נולד בבוטשן ברומניה בי"ד בניסן תרצ"ט (3.4.1939), הבן הצעיר במשפחה בת שני אחים. אביו היה סוחר. דוד למד הנדסאות כבישים וגשרים. בשנת 1964 עלה דוד לארץ עם שני הוריו, ועבד בעבודות שונות. לאחר שנה בארץ נפטר אביו. כשהתפרסמה מודעה על פתיחת אולפן במשטרה לעולים חדשים, התגייס דוד לשורות המשטרה. מאז שירת בנאמנות עד מותו. דוד הכיר את אשתו באמצעות חבר משותף אשר למד איתה באולפן. ב-1968, שנתיים לאחר שהכירו, הם נישאו. ב-1973 נולדה מיטל בתם. אמו של דוד התגוררה איתם כמה שנים, עד שנפטרה. סגן-ניצב דוד נפל בעת שירותו בכ"ב באלול תשמ"ח (3.9.1988). בן ארבעים ותשע היה בנפלו. הוא נטמן בבית העלמין הצבאי בקריית שאול בתל אביב.
