בן יהודה ותמר. נולד ביום י"א באב ת"ש, (15.8.1940) בעיר קזבלנקה אשר במרוקו. המשפחה עלתה לארץ בשנת 1950. אחרי שיצחק סיים את לימודיו בבית ספר יסודי ותיכון בבאר שבע בא לתל אביב ולמד בפקולטה למדעי הרוח באוניברסיטה שבה; הגיע לשנה השלישית בלימודי החינוך, את פרנסתו מצא בהוראה בבית הספר התיכון "אפיקי דעת" בבאר שבע והוא היה מפרנסה האחד של אמו החולה. גויס לצה"ל לחיל ההנדסה והשריון באוגוסט 1959 ולאחר שירותו הסדיר הצטרף לצבא הקבע ושירת כחצי שנה בלבד. בימי מלחמת ששת הימים נמצא במילואים, וביום הששי לקרבות, הוא ב' בסיון תשכ"ז (10.6.1967), נפל ברפיח. הניח אשה כשהיא בחודש השביעי להריונה. הובא לקבורה בבית הקברות הצבאי לשעת חירום בבארי ולאחר זמן הועבר למנוחת עולמים בבית הקברות הצבאי בבאר שבע. בירחון עיריית באר שבע ("כאן באר שבע") במדור "כבוד לנופלים - תנחומים למשפחות" הועלה זכרו.
