Turai Mazliah Saada Kanizi served in the Israel Defense Forces. Mazliah served with the Logistics Corps. Mazliah served in the War of Attrition. Mazliah was 33 years old.
בן יצחק ורחל. נולד ביום י"ב באייר תרצ"ה (15.5.1935) בתל-אביב. משפחתו היתה מעורה בחיי-הארץ. אביו היה פעיל בועד-עדתו, עדת הדמשקאית, ואחד הגבאים הראשיים בית- הכנסת. כאשר הגיע לגיל-הלימודים למד בבית-הספר היסודי "יסוד המעלה". היה נהג מונית ובשעות-הפנאי התנדב רבות לעסקנות ציבורית וטיפל במקרים סוציאליים. בבוא מועד-גיוסו, ביוני 1952, גויס לצה"ל. אך ביום י"ב בתמוז תשכ"ח (7.7.1968), כתום יום עבודה, קיבל חופשה אך לא הרגיש את עצמו בטוב ונפטר לאחר-מכן. הניח אשה ושלוש בנות הובא למנוחת-עולמים בבית-הקברות הצבאי בקרית שאול. ספר-תורה הוכנס על שמו בבית-הכנסת "שבת-אחים" בתל-אביב.
