Turai Moshe Agi served in the Israel Defense Forces. Moshe served with the Infantry. Moshe served in the War of Independence. Moshe was 18 years old.

What Happened

בן מרים וחיים, נולד ביום כ"ח באדר תר"ץ (28.3.1930) בירושלים. סיים את חוק לימודיו בבית-הספר העממי והחל לעבוד במסגריה של אביו. בשנת 1946 הצטרף לארגון ה"הגנה". ערבים תמימים היה מבלה מחוץ לבית ומארגן בקרב חבריו את חלוקת כרוזי ה"הגנה" והדבקתם. היה פעיל גם במגרשי גוגנהיימר למשחקים. משה גדל באווירה משפחתית צנועה והיה בעל אופי עליז. חביב ואהוב על מכריו, שראו בו סמל ה"ואהבת לרעך כמוך". מוכן תמיד להקריב את היקר לו למען המולדת. בפרוץ מלחמת-העצמאות התנדב לגדוד "מוריה" בחטיבת ירושלים. באחד הקרבות נפל אחד מידידיו הקרובים ביותר. משה נשבע לנקום את דמו והצטרף לכיתת חבלנים. הוא השתתף בקרבות ירושלים וסביבותיה, שכונת מקור-חיים, תלפיות, שייח'-ג'ראח, ארנונה ומוצא. אף מהתקפות על קסטל וקולוניה לא נעדר. ביום י"ד באייר תש"ח (23.5.1948) יצא משה עם חוליה מיחידתו להניח מוקשים נגד טנקים מול כביש הגישה לשייח ג'ראח. במהלך הנחת המוקשים התפוצץ מוקש שהפעיל עוד שני מוקשים. כתוצאה מהפיצוץ נהרג משה ומקום קבורתו לא נודע. מצבה לזכרו הוקמה בבית-הקברות הצבאי בהר-הרצל בירושלים. החלל הינו מקל''ן- חלל שמקום קבורתו לא נודע.
