Their life
Detective Terry Mulvey died as the result of cancer that he developed following his assignment to the search and recovery efforts at the World Trade Center site following the 9/11 Terrorist Attacks.
Detective Mulvey had served with the New York City Police Department and had been assigned to the Dignitary Protection Unit for Mayor Rudy Giuliani. He also served with the Drug Enforcement Agency Task Force.

He is survived by his wife, who also serves with the Drug Enforcement Agency Task Force, daughter, and son.
