Investigator Salvatore Papasso was killed in the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks while attempting to rescue the victims trapped in the World Trade Center.

Investigator Papasso had been a member of the New York State Office of Tax Enforcement for four years.

You went in while everyone else was coming out.
Investigator Papasso gave the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance 4 years.
