Firefighter Richard B. Jones, age 63, of the Fire Department City of New York - Ladder 25, died on February 7, 2020, from illness related to response to the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center. He was a 20-year veteran with the FDNY who was recognized three times for acts of merit. He retired in 2002.

Firefighter of the Fire Department of the City of New York, who died of an illness from the rescue and recovery at the World Trade Center. The department added the name to its World Trade Center Memorial Wall at the ceremony of 09 September 2020. He died on 07 February 2020, aged 63.
