badge.nw↗Officer Paul Laszczynski was killed in the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks while attempting to rescue the victims trapped in the World Trade Center.
He was last seen helping people in the North Tower above the 20th floor.
Officer Laszczynski had served with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Police Department for thirteen years. He earned a Fraternal Order of Police Valor Award for his heroics during rescue attempts after the 1993 World Trade Center Bombing.
You went in while everyone else was coming out.
Police Officer Laszczynski gave the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Police Department 13 years.
Thank you for your service to the Jersey City community. Gone but never to be forgotten.
