Investigator Patrick Hogan died as the result of cancer that he developed following his assignment to the search and recovery efforts at the World Trade Center site following the 9/11 Terrorist Attacks.
Investigator Hogan was a United States Marine Corps Persian Gulf War veteran and served with the New York State Police for 22 years.
You walked into it and it took years to finish the job.
Investigator Hogan gave the New York State Police 22 years.
Thank you for your service to the people of New York. Gone but never to be forgotten.
