Odessa V. Morris

Odessa Morris was born in Norfolk, Virginia. She and her husband lived on 21 acres in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, where they kept farm animals. The couple had raised three children. Odessa and her husband were preparing to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary on the evening of September 11. That day, Odessa reported to the Pentagon, where she worked as a U.S. Army budget analyst.

Killed at the Pentagon on the morning of 11 September 2001, when American Airlines flight 77 struck the western face of the building at 9:37. A hundred and twenty-five people inside and fifty-nine aboard the aircraft were killed.
