Their life
On November 8, 2021, the FDNY lost Michael J. Federowski due to September 11th illness. Michael enjoyed his career as a firemen and retired as a fire marshal in 2010. Michael always said, “I would do it again if I could.” He had a heart of gold, and anyone who met him knew instantly. He was always there to give a helping hand to anyone that needed it. Michael loved his wife, Jennifer; his children, Michael and Jacquelyn; and his family and friends. He also loved hunting and fishing and cars and music. He played the bass. We miss you every day!!!

How they died
Battalion Fire Marshal of the Fire Department of the City of New York, who died of an illness from the rescue and recovery at the World Trade Center. The department added the name to its World Trade Center Memorial Wall at the ceremony of 14 September 2022. He died on 08 November 2021, aged 51.
