Storekeeper Third Class, United States Navy, a watch-stander in the Navy Command Center.
She followed her father, a retired chief radioman, into the Navy. In five years she served an overseas tour in Bahrain and three years of sea duty before being chosen for the command center at the Pentagon, where she was part of a team of strategic planners.
She was on duty on the morning of the eleventh. She was twenty-three, and had a seven-month-old son.
Her family asked that the world be told she had a heart of gold and a real zest for life.
How they died
Killed at the Pentagon on the morning of 11 September 2001, when American Airlines flight 77 struck the western face of the building at 9:37. A hundred and twenty-five people inside and fifty-nine aboard the aircraft were killed.
Survived by
Her son Kahleb, her parents Mike and Pat, her brother Michael and her sister Teresa.
