Edward T. Earhart

Petty Officer First Class, United States Navy, an aerographer's mate - a weather man.

From Morehead, Kentucky. He did basic training at Great Lakes, then the Naval Reserve Center at Lexington and the Naval Technical Training Unit at Keesler in Mississippi. He spent three years at Pearl Harbor before coming to Washington in November 2000.

His closest friend spoke at his funeral on the twenty-second of September and said he was intelligent, caring and funny - the kind of man you wish your daughter would marry.

He was twenty-six.

Killed at the Pentagon on the morning of 11 September 2001, when American Airlines flight 77 struck the western face of the building at 9:37. A hundred and twenty-five people inside and fifty-nine aboard the aircraft were killed.
