Senior Correctional Police Officer Ed Jamandron died as a result of contracting COVID-19 while serving at the East Jersey State Prison at 1100 Woodbridge Road in Rahway.
Officer Jamandron was a United States Army veteran and served with the New Jersey Department of Corrections for 17 years.

He is survived by his mother, wife, three sons, daughter, and grandson.
