Their life
Police Officer Andy Stromfeld died as the result of cancer that he developed following his assignment to the search and recovery efforts at the World Trade Center site following the 9/11 Terrorist Attacks.
Officer Stromfeld had served with the New York Police Department for 18 years and was assigned to the Emergency Services Unit. After he retired, he served as a volunteer firefighter with the Fishers Fire District.
