Tamar Kedem Siman-Tov
Their story
Tamar was murdered in her home along with her entire family in Kibbutz Nir Oz where she lived. She dreamed of being the first woman to head the Eshkol Regional Council. Her advisor spoke about her: 'She could easily have been the next head of the Eshkol Council. The first second I met her, I knew it was perfect for her. Anyone who met Tamar in her too-short life knew she was a winner, she wouldn't give up for a moment, she would recruit everyone necessary until the goal she believed in was achieved. Tamar believed in creating a shared future. She didn't like to hear "there's nothing to be done!" She always repeated it, if something bothers you, don't wait for the state or council because "there's always something to be done."
