Nira Ronen
Their story
Nira was murdered in the shelter of her home in Kfar Aza along with her caretaker, Angie, who tried to hold the door closed as Hamas terrorists forced themselves in. Nira was 86 years old. Angie had only started working with Nira a month and a half before the attack but the two quickly bonded and grew close. Israeli news site Walla reported her children saying, “Angie brought light and joy to our mother’s life."
