Their life
Correctional Officer Calyne St. Val died from complications as a result of contracting COVID-19 in the line of duty while serving at the Pre-Trial Detention Center at 1321 NW 13th Street in Miami.
Correctional Officer St. Val had served with the Miami-Dade County Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation for over two years.

She is survived by her mother, five brothers, and sister.
