What Happened
Gabriel Reilly, known as Gabe, served the Salt Lake City Fire Department for four years and completed his paramedic training in 2025. His father, Dan, retired from the same department in 2024. He died off duty on 27 September 2026, aged 27, in a wingsuit BASE-jumping accident in Cache County, Utah.

His parents, Nicole and Dan; his triplet siblings, Siri and Drew; and Morgan, his girlfriend of two years.
Biography
Born in Eugene, Oregon, on 21 October 1998, a triplet with his sister Siri and brother Drew, he was named after the archangel Gabriel. He grew up in Park City, Utah, skied competitively on the Park City Ski Team, graduated from Park City High School in 2017 and from the University of Utah in 2021 with a degree in kinesiology. He played guitar and sang, and from 2019 he flew: skydiving, paragliding, speed flying, wingsuit and BASE.
