TinDrum was a Norwegian rock band started by Morten "Diesel" Dahl in 1988. The original lineup was bassplayer Sid Ringsby, Singer Tove Kure and Guitarist extraordinare Trond Öien.

The band debuted in 1988 with the album Drums of War The title track was a massive single hit for the band, and went no.1 in the norwegian charts in the summer of '88. The band toured extensively for the album, as "Drums On Tour" went on for the better part of 1988. Other notable tracks from their debut are Midnite Dynamite, Rain and Horoscope.

For their second album "How 'Bout This, Dag Ingebrigtsen replaced Tove Kure as the lead singer. Notable tracks; I Was Made For R'n'R, Dolve Vita,The Show Must Go On, Fantasia and I Love To Love.

The band also did well in other territories like Japan and Russia etc. Tindrum officially disbanded in 1992, but have done some shows with the original line up at special occations during the years, Rumours of a reunion has never been denied by the band.
