Slumber

Slumber is a Swedish doom metal band formed in Stockholm in the early 2000s, known for their atmospheric, melancholic sound that blends elements of doom metal, death-doom, and ambient music. Characterized by slow, heavy riffs, haunting melodies, and introspective moods, Slumber developed a style that emphasized emotion and atmosphere over aggression, setting them apart within the Scandinavian metal scene.

The band released their debut album Fallout in 2004, which was praised for its somber tone, layered compositions, and cinematic feel. Despite a relatively short active period, Slumber left a lasting impression on the doom metal underground. Members of the band later went on to form or contribute to other projects, most notably Atoma in 2011, continuing the atmospheric and introspective musical approach that Slumber became known for.
