Biography
Ride For Revenge ist eine dreiköpfige Black-Metal-Band, die 2001 in Lappeenranta, Finnland, gegründet wurde, aber jetzt in Helsinki ansässig sind. Zur Band gehören Harald Mentor (Bass, Gesang), J. Pervertor (Gitarren) und Hail Conjurer (Schlagzeug). Bei frühen Liveshows war BlackGoat Gravedesecrator (Goatmoon) für den Gesang zuständig. Da sie sehr bassorientiert und doomig in Geschwindigkeit und Atmosphäre sind, gibt es in Black-Metal-Kreisen nur wenige vergleichbare Bands. Dennoch sind sie klanglich dem Black Metal zuzuordnen und haben einen Ton und ein Tempo, das an Bands wie Barathrum, Beherit oder Archgoat erinnert.
