Pedro Soler

Pedro Soler (born in 1938 ) is a French flamenco guitarist He has performed with many stars of the flamenco scene: Pericón de Cadiz, Rafael Romero, Bernardo de los Lobitos, José Maria Rodriguez, Jacinto Almadén, Pepe Badajóz, Pepe de la Matrona, Juan Varea, Enrique Morente, Inès Bacàn, Atahualpa Yupanqui , Nonato Luiz, Maria Bethânia , Germaine Montero and Maria Casarès. He also ventured into world music with Renaud Garcia-Fons , Raúl Barboza , Ravi Prasad , Michel Doneda, Ramón Lopez and Beñat Achiary. Artistic director of the “ Guitares au Palais ” festival , at the Palais des Rois de Majorca , in Perpignan , in the Pyrénées-Orientales . His son is cellist Gaspar Claus .
