Biography
The orchestra of the Opéra national de Paris is a French symphonic orchestra created in 1672. Founder: Jean-Baptiste Lully. Strong in 2017 with a staff of 168 musicians, the orchestra has been performing since 1870 at the Opéra Garnier and, since its opening in 1989, at the Opéra Bastille, the two sites of the Opéra national de Paris.
