Biography
Justin Hurwitz is an American film composer best known for his work in Whiplash. Hurwitz began playing the piano at age 6, and was a college roommate of Whiplash's director Damien Chazelle. Hurwitz is renowned for his execution and precision of music cues in the film that convey emotion, juxtaposition, and intensity.
