Gölä

Marco "Gölä" Pfeuti grew up in Oppligen/BE, near Thun. After a stay in England, he completed an apprenticeship as a painter. During his apprenticeship, he founded the band "Joshua", in which he sang English. Gölä released his debut album "Uf u dervo" in 1998, making music history in Switzerland: the album sold around 300,000 copies, remained in the charts for over two years and triggered a veritable dialect boom. By 2001, he had produced five dialect albums and won numerous prizes (including the World Music Award for Best Selling Swiss Artist and the Prix Walo).
