Formed in 2016, Gaerea are a black metal band from Portugal. Gaerea have been towards the front of the modern black metal scene since 2018 with their pummeling intensity, dissonant tones, and melancholic melodies. Behind black shrouds of obscurity and desolation, the men of GAEREA deliver their odes in cascading maelstroms of aggression and beauty.
